Here you go, Kim: My Freezer (such as it is at this late hour)

So, let’s see. We’ve got:

  • 5 or 6 bags of shredded zucchini from last years harvest
  • 2 bags italian prune halves, also from last year
  • 2 whole wheat pit loaves
  • 2 tubs of potato-leek soup that turns out watery and unpleasant when thawed…
  • Applesauce from last fall
  • A ton of yeast
  • Puff pastry that I still haven’t designated for anything
  • Loaf of whole wheat banana bread. It thaws really well.
  • 1/2 a loaf of bread
  • A couple of ice packs
  • A smidgen of sliced almonds
  • 3 tofurkey sausages
  • Tater tots!!!
  • Big bag o wheat germ
  • Empty ice cube tray
  • Marinara from last summer
  • Vanilla and chocolate coconut bliss

In the door, we’ve got:

  • Boysenberries
  • Follow your heart vegan mozzarella
  • Tomato paste (I used to hate it when 1/2 a can would go moldy before use. This works great.
  • Spinach
  • Small shred coconut
  • Large flake coconut
  • Sesame seeds
  • Almonds
  • Tiny bit of pesto
  • Cow’s milk cheese (Yeah, I know. It’s for Shane’s pizza.)

Not sure how much of this I can use before my dishes get packed on…Tuesday. We’ll see.

Ready? Set? Eat!

Wanna see some other freezers?

I freeze my tomato paste too! It’s a handy trick. I think our freezers would get along well. You better enjoy the puff pastry before you go! You could do something savory with sausages and leeks and cheeze. good luck eating it all!
